I know I am going to quit smoking. It seems like just when I think I am going to be able to quit, something changes in my life and I fall right back into the usual routine of smoking. What are some ways that some of you have successfully used to quit smoking?

This worked for me, tough it out for three days without smoking then start smoking again but don’t light the cigarette and just puff on it anyways. You lose the nicotine in three days, smoking is the number 1 psychological addiction. If you puff on a non-lighted cigarette it just seems like you are smoking ultra lights.

Ive just stopped smoking and im cutting down on my drinking because of my health. Please any tips on getting back my health will be greatly appreciated. maybe some light exercise any tips on that would be cool and just in general food and stuff anything else you can think of. thanks

well its PROVEN that pot smoke effectivly flushes out the tobacco toxins so i say start there, research yourself if you dont believe me

I’m a social smoker and smoke only when I’m around my friends or people that smoke. I know pretty stupid, but I like the taste of some cigarettes lol anyways I noticed some people would light the tip of their cigarette before smoking it. Why is that? and how do you do it without burning it? Also what brands of cigarettes is best for a 19 year old guy in College???

I have never heard of that. As for what brands to smoke, try your friend’s smokes until you find one you like.

also just drink on sundays like smirnoff vodka or pbr haha

I have been smoking drinking and havent ran in 1 whole year. I need to get back in shape for the 400. How do I get back in shape quickly, i cant embarass myself at tryouts.

tip top shape doesn’t happen in 2 months and track season isn’t for 9 months. end the smoking and drinking. do some light running.

i dont know how to smoke weed. any tips on how to would be nice.

suck on the pipe, joint… not very hard but not too light either. Inhale as much smoke as you think you can handle and when you are done inhaling take a deep breath to bring the smoke to your lungs. Hold it in around 3 seconds and then exhale.

I’m a chain smoker and I’m 15 and Christmas morning, my parents are home and it’s not like I can just step outside and light one up.. (my dad will hear the door creak and come running ready to bust me) and I’m craving a cigarette very bad and I don’t want to spend Christmas morning craving a cigarette and going through withdrawal when opening presents and seeing family because then I won’t enjoy any thing so any tips on how to get away with it?

How about going upstairs to our bedroom and if your parents say where are you going say:

“oh im just going to the toilet, I’ll be right back” (and then smile or something)

or

“oh i think i left my phone/electricity running”

when your upstairs in your bedroom open the window, and smoke, then chew on a breath mint or something to get the smell away. Put some perfume on and go back downstairs. If your parents ask why do you have perfume on say:

Well i went to the toilet, who wouldn’t put perfume on afterwards” (and smile)

some one told me that the seals of spark plugs are broken cause i have a little oil on the tip of the spark plugs ..no oil in the spark plug tube .. so ??? what is it, is it only the rubber seals or am i looking into a big problem .. cause after a minute it doesn’t give smoke no matter how long i let it run

This smoke is oil that has dripped down into the cylinders after the car has been shut off.When you start it,the oil in the cylinders,burns off in the white/light blue smoke.This is due to worn or cracked valve seals located under the valve covers.They can be replaced without pulling the heads off by putting air pressure in the cylinder that your working on.But it is still expensive.But it’s the valve seals,100%!
Thank you and good luck.You don’t HAVE to have this repair unless it’s a nice car or whatever.If it’s an older car,which I’m pretty sure it is.You can also limit how much it drips by adding higher viscosity oil like 20w50.Or even a straight 40 or 50w oil.But during the winter no higher than 20w 50.

my exaust tip recently fell off but there was no smoke then and on my way to work a few days ago it just started blowing out smoke i thought nothing of it untill it got worse now at every red light im leaving clouds of smoke and everytime i step on and off the gas its blowing smoke, and its running funny like theres no power…

if it’s white smoke it sounds like you’ve blown a head gasket. Check your oil, and if it looks kind of like chocolate milk then that’s what it is. If the oil looks good that still doesn’t rule out a blown head gasket. If it’s blue smoke it means you have oil coming through the exhaust which usually indicates bad piston rings which means it’s time for a motor rebuild or a new one.

Smoke is translucent, so you’ll be able to see through it to a degree. If painting it on a dark background, use a dry brush with gray/white paint and paint wispy lines very lightly – paint a few light layers til you get the right effect.

If using pencil, remember the smoke is generally lighter than the background, so you could try pencilling in the background then use an eraser to remove the graphite and “draw” the smoke with the eraser.

Do a Yahoo or Google “Image” search for smoke and get some ideas from there. Good luck!
